The Purpose of United Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Our thanks again go out to our church family. Our UMW ladies could not have May Breakfast without all the help we receive.
Thanks to J.W. McCollum for getting the building power washed and carpet cleaned at the entrances. Donna Danforth brought pots and flowers for our tables. Thanks to Jack Coker and men for helping with carryout. Rita Sides always brings her griddles and we try to get her electricity to keep them going. Thanks to Elizabeth and the Youth for working so hard and so early. They were even smiling.
Helen Knoll is such a wonderful asset. She has handled the Bake Sale for us for years. She is the first to volunteer. Thanks to everyone who brought baked items to be sold. We had a great turn out. Rayanne Coker brings in all the supplies and keeps the kitchen running.
I haven’t named everyone, but I do thank you for being there and helping every year.
